What to expect

Scheduling photos can be awkward or intimidating, if you are not sure what to expect. I like to be completely transparent with my clients about the process, and make it easy for you.

  1. Inquiry - Fill out the form on the contact page and tell me a bit about yourself, your family, your vision.

  2. Planning - We’ll get your time and date squared away, then figure out location(s). If you know where you want your photos taken, awesome. If not, I have a catalog of locations to recommend depending on the vibe you are going for.

  3. Schedule - Once we’ve worked out the details I’ll get the paperwork ready for you. By signing the contract and paying a 50% deposit you’ll secure your shoot date.

  4. Prep - I’ll send you a what to expect and tips email to help you prepare for your shoot about a week before shoot day. If you have any inspo photos or ideas feel free to send them to me.

  5. Shoot day - I’ll guide you through poses and easy movements. We won’t rush, we will have fun, we’ll play some games with the kiddos, we’ll take breaks when needed, and shake it out if you ever start feeling stiff or awkward.

  6. Gallery - Depending on the size of the shoot you’ll receive your photos with in 1-3 weeks via private online gallery. From the gallery you can download and save all your photos, share photos with other family members, and order prints.
