Every session is different and I don’t have a one size fits all approach to your photo shoot. But, there a few things that I tend to do in most shoots.

We’ll get the classic group shots, the whole family together with the beautiful scenery in the background. Sometimes I do this right off the bat, sometime I do these shots at the end. It just depends on how you and your family are feeling, sometimes the kids need to run around a little bit first and sometimes we’ve got everyone's attention at the beginning and its an easy first shot.

We’ll do some movement prompts, I’ll give you a little direction and have you move around, easy things like walking toward the camera, or a little slow dance. These are good for loosening up and getting comfortable.

Depending on the location sometimes we’ll switch up the background, nothing crazy just walk to a different part of the beach or meadow or trail to give you some variety in your photos and we’ll do a few or your favorite poses again just with a different backdrop.
